The goal of the Western Resources Center for Women in Apprenticeship is to increase the number of women entering and completing apprenticeships in “nontraditional” occupations.
Technical resources provided by the Western Resources Center were developed to 1) Assist registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs recruit more women to trades careers, 2) Help women interested in trades careers learn more about apprenticeship opportunities, and 3) Provide current tradeswomen with resources to support their long term success in the trades.
